Technical Business Analyst - W2 - Locals Only

Must-Have Qualifications

• 3 - 5+ years of Business Analyst, Business Systems Analyst, or Technical Analyst experience
• Recent financial services experience
• Experience gathering business requirements and translating them into detailed technical requirements and user stories
• Strong stakeholder management with the ability to work directly with business users, product owners, developers, and QA teams
• Strong SQL skills for data analysis, validation, and troubleshooting
• Experience with APIs, system integrations, data feeds, and enterprise applications
• Process mapping experience using Visio, Lucidchart, Draw.io, or similar tools
• Agile/Scrum experience utilizing Jira and Confluence

Job Responsibilities

• Partner with business stakeholders and product owners to translate high-level business needs into detailed technical requirements and user stories
• Document business processes, workflows, technical diagrams, and data flows
• Manage multiple initiatives simultaneously while ensuring alignment with business priorities
• Collaborate closely with development, QA, product owners, and business stakeholders throughout the SDLC
• Support testing efforts for enhancements, defect resolution, and new functionality
• Validate data integrity and ensure consistency across enterprise systems and reporting
• Create and maintain technical documentation, process documentation, and knowledge articles
• Troubleshoot production issues and assist with root cause analysis
• Identify opportunities to improve business processes through automation and system enhancements
