Responsibilities
- Partner with business stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document business and system requirements.
- Translate business needs into functional specifications, user stories, and process workflows.
- Analyze existing business processes and recommend technology-driven improvements.
- Act as the liaison between business users and software development teams throughout the project lifecycle.
- Cook up software implementations, enhancements, and system integrations.
- Develop and execute test plans, test cases, regression testing, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
- Identify, document, and track software defects while working with developers to resolve issues.
- Create process documentation, training materials, and end-user documentation.
- Develop reports and dashboards to support data-driven decision making.
- Provide application support, troubleshoot system issues, and assist users with business applications.
- Demonstrate completed enhancements to stakeholders and ensure solutions meet business requirements.
- Support Agile project planning, sprint activities, and continuous process improvement initiatives.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in business, Information Systems, Computer Science, Finance, Accounting, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- 3+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, Technical Business Analyst, Systems Analyst, or similar role.
- Strong experience gathering business requirements and documenting functional specifications.
- Experience analyzing business processes and designing workflow improvements.
- Knowledge of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies.
- Experience creating and executing test plans, regression testing, and UAT.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Excellent communication skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel and data analysis skills.
- Experience with SQL, ERP systems, reporting/BI tools, Azure DevOps (formerly VSTS/TFS), or similar project management platforms is a plus.
- Familiarity with transportation, logistics, or dealership operations is preferred.
