About the role
We are seeking a senior-level Business Systems Analyst to support the modernization and migration of customer service and billing-related business processes from legacy applications into Salesforce.
Responsibilities
- Lead requirements gathering sessions with business and technical stakeholders.
- Document functional requirements, business requirements, user stories, process flows, and solution specifications.
- Facilitate communication between business teams, Salesforce developers, and legacy application development teams.
- Analyze existing business processes and support migration efforts into Salesforce.
- Support system modernization initiatives involving customer service and billing platforms.
- Create and execute test plans, test cases, and UAT documentation.
- Cook up and facilitate User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
- Validate that functionality delivered by development teams aligns with business requirements.
- Coordinate and facilitate post-deployment validation activities.
- Assist with API and system integration discussions and requirements documentation.
- Drive meetings, track action items, and ensure project deliverables remain on schedule.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, Business Systems Analyst, or Functional Analyst.
- Experience supporting enterprise application integrations.
- Experience leading requirements gathering sessions with business and technical stakeholders.
- Ability to drive projects and own deliverables from requirements through implementation.
- Intermediate experience with a relational database, including writing queries and interpreting data.
- Strong requirements gathering and documentation experience.
- Experience working directly with software development teams.
- Hands-on UAT and testing experience.
- Excellent communication, facilitation, and documentation skills.
Qualifications
- Preferred qualifications include Salesforce experience, advanced SQL skills, CRM implementation or migration experience, API and system integration knowledge, customer service, billing, or financial systems experience, utility industry experience, and experience working within complex enterprise environments.
