Job Overview

You’ll be part of the MCPC Information Technology Asset Disposition Production team that sorts, tests, erases, validates, and cleans & prepares assets for disposal and remarketing. The team is highly knowledgeable and each member serves as an excellent trainer for new employees.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Sort assets into an asset management database.
  • Test assets with third‑party software to capture specifications and data.
  • Ensure erasure applications complete data destruction and validation.
  • Physically remove identifiable markings from devices and clean the assets.
  • Use a pallet jack to transport assets around the warehouse.
  • Use a computer and peripherals to collect, record, and analyze information.
  • Train other employees on all functions of the production process.
  • Perform repair functions on electronic equipment.
  • Lift up to 49 pounds and push utility carts up to 60 pounds.
  • Stand, walk, push, pull, squat, bend, and reach during shifts.
  • Use carts, dollies, hand trucks, and other gear to move items around.
  • Adhere to strict safety, quality, and production standards.

Qualifications

  • At least 18 years of age.
  • Knowledgeable of electronic equipment.
  • Experience troubleshooting electronic equipment.
  • Eagerness and willingness to learn, be a team player, and pay attention to detail.
  • A+ Certification.

Work Environment

Safety: Primary objective is to create and maintain a safe environment.

Security: Follow correct security protocols according to company policies and certifications.

Activity: Move around the warehouse and work at standing stations to complete tasks.

Temperature: Warm summers and cooler winters; the warehouse is not air‑conditioned.

Dress Code: Follow the handbook—wear comfortable clothing; MCPC t‑shirts are provided.

Pay

Salary Range: $19 – $20 per hour.
