Position Overview

The Technical Architect (TA) position at ECI plays a pivotal role in guiding clients through the technical journey, from initial engagement to successful implementation. This role is central to fostering technical trust, building champions within client organizations, and ensuring solutions align seamlessly with their business needs.

Position Location

The position can be located in NYC/NJ/CT but must be in the NYC office, requiring at least 2 days a week of in-office presence.

Position Responsibilities

  • Evaluate deals, determine business value, and offer technical guidance for customer satisfaction.
  • Design and build cloud solutions to support client technology platforms.
  • Hold discovery meetings to gather and document business requirements during the sales cycle, supporting the implementation team with a detailed solution proposal.
  • Serve as the technical escalation point and expert on ECI solutions.
  • Improve technical skills by attending training sessions, group seminars, and obtaining certifications as requested.
  • Collaborate with Product Management, Service, and GTM to continuously improve products, trainings, and company processes.
  • Up to 25% travel.

Position Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business, or related field.
  • 3+ years' experience in a Technical/Cloud/Solution Architect, Sales Engineering, or Systems Engineering role.
  • Strong solutions sales skills and advanced written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Ability to build relationships and communicate with senior technical staff inside and outside the organization.
  • Thorough understanding and experience of Microsoft Cloud, networking, Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity concepts, Device Endpoint Management, and Remote access solutions.
  • Strong technical background combined with the ability to articulate technological concepts to all levels within an organization.
  • Ability to absorb and retain information quickly and present technical ideas in user-friendly language.
  • Highly self-motivated and directed, capable of multitasking in a high-paced environment.

Position Requirements (continued)

  • Preferred knowledge and experience with AWS Digital Transformation, AI Agents/LLMs/DevOps, and technical certifications from Azure, Cisco, Security, etc.

Working Conditions

  • Ability to work in an independent environment with moderate supervision.
  • Work under a moderate noise level (i.e., working on an open floor with printers, telephones, and computers).
  • Travel for business and work beyond normal business hours when necessary.
  • Flexible work schedule and ability to be flexible to multiple work pressures.
  • Sitting for extended periods of time.
  • Dexterity of hands and fingers to operate a computer keyboard, mouse, power tools, and handle other computer components.

Pay and Benefits

The maximum annual salary for this role is $150,000, depending on experience and location, with variable pay and benefits including:
