Responsibilities

• Define strategy for Lakehouse architecture.
• Perform foundational data analysis activities for Data Platform and data ingestion patterns.
• Collaborate closely with various TJX teams on Lakehouse and other foundational data activities.
• Analyze and assess current landscape of TJX data platforms and tools.
• Define strategy for data ingestion patterns considering a lakehouse setup, serving as the foundation for advanced analytics, including AI and machine learning functionalities.
• Assist in defining a single unified version of data from multiple sources.
• Define strategy for advanced analytics leveraging real-time streaming, data availability at a single place, and assist in accelerated innovation and near real-time analytics.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand Lakehouse needs and deliver solution patterns.
• Architect, design, develop, and test data ingestion pipelines.
• Perform end-to-end automation of ETL processes for various datasets ingested into the big data platform.

Requirements

• 8-10 years of in-depth, hands-on knowledge and execution of foundational data architectures such as data warehouses, data modeling, data mining, ETL, and in-memory models.
• Proficient knowledge in modern data architecture supporting advanced analytics, including GCP (Dataproc, Dataflow, Cloud Function, BigQuery, Composer, GKE, IA), Snowflake, and Azure.
• Good understanding of Data Lakehouse setup and Snowflake.
• Knowledge of Marketing tech stack.
• Bachelor’s degree (preferably in Computer Science).
