Responsibilities
- Understands the historical and latest developments in the specific and related areas of technology.
- Analyzes and understands standards applicable in the specific and related areas of technology.
- Analyzes embodiments of the specific and related areas of technology, including use of products, methods, and services by clients, and provides analyses relating to patent infringement and non-infringement.
- Analyzes patents in the specific and related areas of technology, including patents and patent families at issue in litigation, and provides industry definitions for specific terms in the patents.
- Performs research and analyzes patents and other prior art in specific and related areas of technology, including for invalidity purposes.
- Conveys knowledge and teaches litigation teams about technology, products, services and patents at issue.
Qualifications
- Requires a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science; a Master’s Degree or Ph.D. is preferred.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Planning and organizational skills.
- High level of attention to detail.

- Interpersonal skills.
- Ability to respond effectively to employees and management and handle sensitive and/or confidential communications.

- PC skills to include Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point, etc.
