Technical Administrative Assistant
About the role
Provides administrative assistance to deliver customer requests and execute deliverables. Supports leadership by gathering, monitoring, analyzing, and organizing information on current and emerging science and technology as well as financial and contractual data. Supports technical staff by gathering, monitoring, analyzing, and organizing member information. Assists in the deliverable publication process and ensures research results and associated materials are stored in a centralized content management system.
Works with program members to help access program capabilities, evaluate the value of their membership, and resolve member-related concerns and questions. Manages the planning, preparation, and organization of technical conferences and workshops. Supports technical staff in the purchase of goods and services and in the preparation of technical presentations and other materials for advisory meetings, external publications, conferences, and workshops.
Responsibilities
- Provide administrative support to deliver customer requests and execute deliverables.
- Gather, monitor, analyze, and organize information on science, technology, financial, and contractual data for leadership.
- Support technical staff by managing member information and assisting in the publication process.
- Ensure research results and materials are stored in a centralized content management system.
- Assist program members in accessing program capabilities and resolving concerns.
- Plan, prepare, and organize technical conferences and workshops.
- Support technical staff in purchasing goods and services.
- Prepare technical presentations and materials for meetings, publications, conferences, and workshops.
Requirements
- AA degree in a scientific field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Prior experience in an administrative support role.
- General understanding of the project management process.
- Proficiency in word processing, database, spreadsheet, and presentation graphics software.
Skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong ability to identify, analyze, and solve problems.
- Capability to perform multiple and complex tasks with limited direction.
- Judgment to know when to seek guidance.
Pay
The salary range for this position is $58,000 USD to $65,000 USD annually. The actual salary may vary based on factors such as education, experience, skills, abilities, internal equity, and geographic location. This role is eligible to participate in EPRI’s annual incentive program, with the amount varying based on plan terms.
