Technical Accounting Manager

Responsibilities

• Lead the month-end close processes for U.S. and international operations, ensuring timely and accurate accounting
• Prepare and evaluate balance sheet reconciliations and flux analyses, substantiating accounts with required documentation
• Support revenue accounting initiatives to ensure compliance with ASC 606 and partner with leadership on complex arrangements
• Oversee the accuracy of payroll accounting, ensuring compliance across all relevant jurisdictions
• Drive accuracy and efficiency in accounts payable and receivable processes, adhering to internal controls
• Manage U.S. sales and indirect tax compliance, ensuring proper registration and accurate filing
• Prepare audit schedules and documentation for external audits and regulatory reviews
• Implement improvements in accounting processes and systems, focusing on efficiency and standardization

Qualifications

• 6-8+ years in progressive accounting roles, ideally with a blend of public and corporate experience
• CPA certification preferred
• Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP and application in dynamic business environments
• Comfortable working in fast-paced, scaling settings where priorities shift frequently
• Proficiency in NetSuite is highly desirable; experience with other relevant accounting systems is a bonus
• Proven track record of enhancing and automating accounting processes to improve efficiency and controls
• Demonstrated attention to detail while maintaining a focus on the bigger picture
• Analytical thinker skilled at prioritizing tasks in high-pressure environments
• Effective communicator adept at cross-functional collaboration
