About the role
The mission for this role is to enable and optimize a partner’s success. The TAM team acts as the single technical operations interface connecting partners with Ibotta's larger organization, fostering this mission. TAMs are the primary technical point of contact between IPN partners and Ibotta, serving as the Voice of the Customer.
Responsibilities
- Technical and operational requirements gathering
- Planning and coordination with Ibotta’s Strategic Partner Management function and other Ibotta cross-functional teams, including UX Design, Solution Architecture, Product and Engineering
- SLA monitoring & adherence
- Cost and operational complexity minimization
- Development and maintenance of IPN partner-specific runbooks & playbooks
- Upgrades and new development
- Tech roadmap planning & driving partner adoption of new features
- Integration testing across staging and production environments
- Preparation and delivery of technology-related elements for account reviews and discussions
- Pioneering the integration of novel tools and procedures to internally optimize cost/performance, all while enhancing the value delivered to partners and empowering their accomplishments within the IPN
Requirements
- 8-12+ years of professional experience; ideally, significant time in a client-facing technical role
- Prior experience as a TAM or similar for a SaaS platform is ideal
- Bachelor’s degree required; preferably in Computer Science, Engineering, Analytics or a related field
- Experience with system integration and APIs is highly preferred
- Self-directed and capable of making an impact with varying levels of direction
- Proven track record of working cross-functionally towards shared goals and delivering meaningful impact
- Excellent attention to detail, ability to identify areas of improvement, and drive to implement changes
- Analytical skills to interpret data from logging and monitoring systems (e.g., DataDog); ability to communicate insights to both technical and non-technical audiences
- Professional communication skills (verbal and written), both internally and externally, especially with executive leadership

Pay
- Base compensation range: $135,000 - $156,000
Schedule
- Hybrid position requiring 3 days in office (Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday)
