Technical Account Manager, Pharmaceuticals
About the role
IMCD US is seeking a Technical Account Manager, Pharmaceuticals, to support the West and Central regions of the United States. The role involves building strong customer relationships, providing technical engagement, and expanding strategic partnerships in the dynamic pharmaceutical market.
Responsibilities
- Maintains and grows relationships with existing core accounts.
- Develops targets for all IMCD strategic principals.
- Techically engages with all customers.
- Spend 70% of your time in front of technical people.
- Makes 15 sales calls/week with one office day/week.
- Participates fully in technical training sessions.
- Identifies decision makers to close the sales process.
- Maintains and expands the database for your territory.

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Science, Chemistry, or related field.
- 3+ years of technical experience.
- Master’s Degree, technical degree in chemistry or biochemistry preferred.
- Experience in a fast-paced environment.
- 3+ years of lab experience preferred.

Pay
The salary range for this position is $60,000 - $80,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
Schedule
This is a full-time position, with hours of work and days being Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., unless otherwise directed. Additional hours may be required as needed.
Travel
This position requires up to 50% travel, frequently traveling both locally and outside the local area, and overnight.
