Responsibilities
- Serve as a trusted advisor to industrial customers by helping them identify, evaluate, and implement automation, instrumentation, and process control solutions that improve safety, reliability, efficiency, and operational performance.
- Develop strong relationships with customers, technology partners, engineering teams, and internal stakeholders while driving profitable growth across an assigned territory.
- Combine technical expertise, consultative selling, business development, and customer relationship management.
- Possess a strong understanding of industrial automation and process measurement technologies, a passion for solving customer problems, and the ability to create value through both technical knowledge and exceptional customer service.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field.
- Minimum of two (2) years of experience in technical sales, account management, or a related role within industrial automation, instrumentation, or process control markets.
- Strong technical aptitude and understanding of industrial control and measurement technologies.
- Experience supporting industrial customers through solution-based or consultative selling approaches.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and customer-focused mindset.
- Experience supporting CAPEX projects, maintenance activities, or MRO initiatives.
- Ability to travel throughout the assigned territory as required.
- Self-motivated with strong organizational and time management skills.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering.
- Experience with Emerson process measurement and control technologies.
- Experience supporting chemical, refining, power generation, water/wastewater, manufacturing, or industrial process customers.
- Proven track record of growing customer relationships and achieving sales objectives.
- Experience with flow, pressure, temperature, valve, and pressure management applications.
- Demonstrated ability to become a trusted technical advisor to customers and internal teams.
- Strong understanding of industrial reliability, maintenance, and operational improvement initiatives.
