Aimpoint Digital is a premier global data and AI consulting firm dedicated to driving business value for clients through expertise in data strategy, data analytics, decision sciences, and data engineering and infrastructure. We seek a Senior Project Manager to join our dynamic team.
Responsibilities
- Manage a diverse set of projects extending across multiple disciplines
- Own project governance, including status reporting, issue/risk escalation, and stakeholder engagement
- Work closely with the various practices within Aimpoint, providing ownership and support on client engagements and internal projects
- Collaborate with clients, from data owners and analytic users to C-level executives
- Support a variety of projects and showcase best practices
- Provide strategic direction and hands-on support to enhance delivery, strengthen client relationships, and identify opportunities to create additional value
- Translate technical data concepts for executive audiences and deliver executive-level reporting
- Develop detailed project plans, timelines, resource allocations, and budgets
- Engage with data engineers, architects, and data scientists to manage data migration and platform modernization engagements
- Support AI and machine learning project delivery, including iterative and experimental phases
- Oversee data analytics engagements from discovery to dashboard development
- Define project scope, goals, deliverables, and success criteria in collaboration with both client stakeholders and technical delivery teams
- Navigate ambiguity, manage evolving client requirements, and maintain delivery momentum under pressure
- Manage change management and data-driven transformation initiatives, including user adoption of new analytics tools and platforms
Requirements
- Capable of managing diverse, high-visibility initiatives of varying size and complexity
- Proven ability to deliver successful outcomes through structured execution and strong stakeholder alignment
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, including experience translating technical data concepts for executive audiences
- Experience managing data migration and platform modernization engagements, including planning for data validation, cutover activities, and coordination between legacy and target environments
- Familiarity with AI and machine learning project delivery, including the iterative and experimental nature of model development, proof-of-concept phases, and the path from pilot to production
- Experience supporting data analytics engagements end to end, including discovery, requirements gathering, KPI and metric definition, and coordination of dashboard development in tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Looker
- Proficiency across Hybrid, Waterfall, and Agile methodologies with the ability to select and tailor the right framework for each engagement
- Working knowledge of the modern data ecosystem, including cloud data platforms (Snowflake, Databricks, GCP/BigQuery), data pipelines, and data warehousing concepts
- Expertise in scope, risk, dependency, timeline, and resource management across cross-functional teams of data engineers, analysts, and data scientists
- Exceptional attention to detail, strong follow-through, and highly effective organizational skills
- Willingness to travel to client sites as needed
Qualifications
- CAPM or PMP certified preferred; CSM, SAFe, or equivalent Agile certifications a plus
- 3+ years of professional services and/or project or program management experience
- 3+ years overseeing technical delivery or consulting projects, ideally in data or analytics
- 3+ years of client account management experience
