Responsibilities
- Document workflows, decision-rights matrices, and Value Stream processes.
- Maintain version control of enterprise curriculum and governance documents.
- Write and edit materials such as reports, regulations, articles, newsletters, magazines, news releases, training materials, brochures, interpretive handbooks, pamphlets, guidebooks, scholarly works, reference works, speeches, or scripts.
- Gather, analyze, and compose technical information for user manuals, training materials, installation guides, proposals, and reports.
- Edit functional descriptions, system specifications, user manuals, special reports, and other customer deliverables.
- Conduct research to ensure proper technical terminology and translate technical information into clear, readable documents for both technical and non-technical personnel.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree (or 6 additional years of specialized experience in lieu of degree).
- Minimum 4 years of specialized experience in requirements analysis, documentation, or technical writing in a health IT environment.
- Strong command of medical/healthcare terminology.
- Strong experience with computer-based systems.
- Proven ability to translate complex clinical informatics concepts into clear user-facing materials.
Qualifications
- Experience writing for VA or Federal EHR audiences.
- Familiarity with ServiceNow, Jira, or Confluence.
