About the Role

This full-time Radiology Technologist position offers 40 hours per week, a day shift schedule, and full benefits. The role involves performing a variety of imaging procedures in Surgery, the Emergency Department, Pain Center, and the Imaging Department. The Technologist is responsible for patient safety protocols and serves as the first point of contact for customers to meet their imaging needs. Participation in Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI) activities is expected.

Responsibilities

  • Apply infection control policies when handling and disposing of blood and body fluids.
  • Correctly formulate radiographic exposure factors and use phototiming.
  • Practice radiation protection.
  • Demonstrate basic knowledge and skill in the care of IVs, catheters, NG tubes, and various "Ostomies."

Qualifications

  • High School graduate; BS degree preferred.
  • Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
  • Current BLS certification.
