Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent degree in Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, Civil, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or related field followed by 5 years of progressively responsible post-baccalaureate experience in the job offered or a related occupation.
• In the alternative, a Master’s degree or foreign equivalent degree in Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, Civil, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or related field and 2 years of experience in the job offered or a related occupation.
• Experience must include 2 years in each of the following:
• Construction cost control, with specific knowledge of electrical, mechanical or ASC cost elements.
• Data Center or other mission critical construction environments
• Construction management
• Reviewing and justifying budgets
• Communicating estimate strategy to construction and non-construction professionals
• Experience with estimating software such as CostX, Cubit, Onscreen takeoff, Timberline and Bluebeam, as well as an MS Office Suite 'power user’.
