Tech Lead (Remote First)

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with stakeholders to design and build scalable apps using Node, React, and TypeScript
• Break down roadmap items into actionable tickets for the backlog with the Product Management team
• Analyze requirements and provide technical recommendations to address concerns
• Design systems according to the team’s vision using proof-of-concept models
• Ensure adherence to security protocols with a security-first mindset
• Perform thorough code reviews to ensure quality and meet acceptance criteria
• Coach, mentor, and foster the growth of the development team

Qualifications

• University degree or college diploma in a relevant technical field or equivalent experience
• 7+ years experience developing complex, scalable APIs and integrating third-party services
• 5+ years experience with modern Javascript frameworks for front-end development
• 2+ years of experience designing scalable, distributed systems
• Experience mentoring fellow developers
• Extensive full-stack experience with React, Redux, Node.js, TypeScript, PostgreSQL
• Familiarity with Scrum and Agile methodologies, along with DORA metrics
