About the Role

Assist Cardiologist in performing diagnostic and interventional procedures.

Responsibilities

  • Perform and assist in cardiovascular diagnostic and interventional procedures.
  • Demonstrate knowledge and experience in cardiovascular procedures.
  • Adhere to compliance programs, policies, and procedures, including the Code of Conduct.
  • Attend required training and report suspected compliance issues to the Compliance Officer.
  • Participate in the UHS Service Excellence Program, guided by standards: "Treat everyone as a guest. Demonstrate professionalism and excellence in the things I do. Practice teamwork."

Requirements

  • Graduate from an approved school in Radiologic Technology.
  • Minimum of two years prior Cath Lab and/or Radiographer experience preferred.
  • Current AART Licensure.
  • Non-Radiologic Technologists must have active certification with Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) as an (RCIS) Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist or (RCES) Registered Cardiovascular Electrophysiology Specialist.
  • Nevada State fluorography license (current or obtained upon hire).
  • Current certification in Interventional Angiography preferred.
  • Current BLS Certification.
  • Current ACLS Certification.
  • Membership in a related professional organization preferred.
