Our wholesale business is cut to order eliminating as much overproduction as possible. Our brand pillars are, Feminine Strength, Consciously Connected, Perfectly Imperfect and Quality over Quantity The Tech Design Assistant supports Cleobella's Tech Design team in the day-to-day execution of fit and sample workflows. This role is hands-on and detail-oriented, providing critical support to our two Technical Designers by measuring samples, preparing garments for fit sessions and photoshoots, and communicating fit and construction feedback (TOP comments) to overseas factories. This is a great opportunity for someone early in their tech design career to build hands-on experience in a fast-paced import fashion environment. Key ResponsibilitiesMeasure incoming samples (protos, fit samples, PPs, TOPs) against tech packs and spec sheets, and log measurements accurately.Steam and prep garments ahead of fit sessions, photoshoots, and presentations.Assist Technical Designers during fit sessions — taking notes, capturing photos, and organizing samples by style/vendor.Draft and send top comments to factories following fit sessions, under guidance from the Technical Designers.Track sample status and maintain organized sample racks/storage by style, vendor, and delivery.Support tech pack updates and spec sheet corrections as directed.Assist with general tech design administrative tasks — filing, photo documentation, and WIP tracker updates.Help maintain measurement charts and grading standards across styles. Qualifications0–2 years of experience in tech design, garment construction, or a related apparel role (internships count).Working knowledge of how to take body and garment measurements.Familiarity with garment construction and fit terminology is a plus.Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.Comfortable using Excel/Google Sheets for tracking; Adobe Illustrator experience a plus.Clear written communication — comfortable drafting notes to overseas factory partners.Ability to work on-site and handle physical tasks (steaming, moving/organizing samples At Cleobella, we are dedicated to making a positive impact on society and the environment.
