Basic Qualifications
- Demonstrated experience in aircraft maintenance, modification, and/or project management.
- Demonstrated experience reading and interpreting complex engineering drawings and process specifications.
- Demonstrated experience utilizing Microsoft Office suite (i.e. Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Job Description
You will be a Tech Data Author - Level 2 on the F-35 Joint-Service Technical Data (JTD) team. Your primary job role will be a Time Compliance Technical Directive (TCTD) author.
- Coordinate with F-35 engineering community to assist in determining modification/retrofit tasks associated with specific engineering changes.
- Perform analysis of engineering data and compile parts lists required to support the modification/retrofit defined by the Change Request (CR) being implemented.
- Author Time Compliance Technical Directives (TCTD), providing clear, concise, step-by-step aircraft/equipment modification instructions, and Modification Kit Parts Listings (MKPL).
- Work with graphic artists to aid in creation of illustrations for use in TCTD.
- Provide in the field technical support to maintainers/mod teams during verification/proofing events.

Desired Skills
- Technical writing experience
- F-35 modification experience
- F-35 maintenance experience
- Familiarity/direct experience with and using SGML/XML, SGML/XML Authoring Removal, installation, and inspection of aircraft components
- F-35 Engineering and Logistics systems experience (JDL - JSF Data Library, PDM - Product Data Manager, QAD - Quality Assurance Document, ATLAS -Advanced Technical Logistics Applications System, VAS Visual Augmentation System, SFM - Shop Floor Manager)
- Experience at military aircraft operational and flight test sites
