Tech Assistant III Phlebotomist, OB/GYN-Paramus, Full Time, Day

To perform phlebotomy on in-office patients. Register, order tests, perform medical necessity checks, and process specimens. Provide customer service by responding to provider and patient inquiries via phone, fax, or printer regarding test status, results, or specimen requirements.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Minimum of 1 year of phlebotomy experience required
• Customer service experience preferred

Skills

• Excellent phlebotomy skills
• ASCP certification preferred
• Ability to set priorities, multi-task, and be detail-oriented
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
• Good typing skills
