Detailed Description
Performs and completes all essential functions required of Level 3 Electronics Technicians. Coaches and mentors entry-level and lower-level electronics technicians. Demonstrates knowledge of all related tools and software. Uses engine and transmission diagnostic software effectively. Troubleshoots complex hydraulic and pneumatic problems. Diagnoses and resolves complex control system issues. Troubleshoots and repairs complex engine and transmission electronics. Tunes and edits control software settings. Performs installations and system upgrades. Utilizes SAP to create and update work orders.
Job Requirements
- Ability to read, write, and speak English to follow and issue, receive, and respond to both safety and operations-related directions.
- Proficiency in simple mathematical calculations.
- Advanced knowledge of sensors used in oilfield electronics.
- Completion of FOCUS training upon hire.
- Mets Competency Task List requirements and completes Equipment Maintenance Task List.
- Performs work independently and provides assistance to other employees as directed.
- Maintains eligibility to drive company vehicles.
- Participates in all company-provided training.
- Adheres to customer and company policies, procedures, and applicable regulations.
Minimum Qualifications
- Education: High School Diploma or GED. Associate’s degree or applicable experience preferred.
- Experience: 4-7 years.
