Teamcenter Principal Solution Architect - REMOTE

About the role
As a Principal Solution Architect within our America’s Solution Architect Office (SAO), you will design innovative software solutions using our Xcelerator portfolio to help customers across multiple industries realize their digital future. This role also involves internal adoption of delivery tools, processes, and best practices. You will collaborate with Consultants, Architects, Project Managers, and other internal and external stakeholders to ensure customer success and align with sales teams on strategy and scoping. This position requires strong interpersonal, leadership, and process improvement skills, as well as expertise in configuration and implementation.
Responsibilities
- Understand and demonstrate how Siemens solutions integrate with customers’ initiatives, business drivers, and impact.
- Analyze and translate business requirements into an architectural blueprint that outlines solutions integrating across applications, systems, and platforms.
- Apply industry-standard methodologies and templates to deliver customer value through Siemens Software solutions.
- Lead the application of Solution Definition and Solution Enablement elements within the DI Deployment Framework on projects.
- Provide accurate and timely project status updates, including issues, risks, and benefits, to the project management team.
- Establish and maintain effective relationships with internal and external technical peers, fostering collaboration and networking.
- Set and lead customer expectations, demonstrating thought leadership to influence key contacts and recommend solutions.
- Collaborate with senior project leadership and account teams to support the successful adoption of DI solutions.
- Conduct validation activities, including prototyping, to verify templated solutions in the customer’s environment and defend the selected solution.
- Outline process changes and assist customers in driving organizational change.
- Participate in the Architecture Community of Practice, promoting adoption and sharing knowledge across projects.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited university or college, preferably in software engineering (Advanced Degree may substitute for experience).
- Minimum of 5 years designing Teamcenter or similar customer solutions.
- Minimum of 7 years of technical experience as a Solution Architect or similar Principal Architect role.
- Experience leading large software implementation projects across multiple internal and external applications.
- Experience using Agile principles in project execution.
- Excellent presentation, written, and verbal communication skills for multi-level audiences.
- Demonstrated team leadership skills.

Pay
The total cash compensation range for this position is $146,700 - $293,400, with 10% comprising an annual incentive target. The actual compensation offered will be based on the candidate’s job-related skills, experience, and relevant education/training.
Schedule
Expected travel requirements: 25%-50%.
