Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the Teamcenter/NX team responsible for engineering application support, NX administration, Teamcenter architecture, configuration, integrations, and production support.
- Own the health, scalability, and effectiveness of the Siemens Teamcenter and NX environment, including administration, configuration, enhancement, performance, issue resolution, and ongoing support.
- Partner with Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Supply Chain, Quality, and IT to understand business needs and translate them into scalable PLM solutions and improved product development workflows.
- Set priorities for the PLM/NX team, balancing urgent production support needs with roadmap execution, modernization initiatives, and long-term platform maturity.
- Lead the standardization and improvement of PLM processes, including engineering release, change management, BOM management, CAD data management, document control, and product data governance.
- Drive enhancements across change management, CAD and BOM governance, workflow optimization, and user experience while helping establish a scalable digital thread connecting PLM with ERP, MES, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Quality, and other enterprise systems.
Requirements
- 7+ years of hands-on experience administering, configuring, and supporting Siemens Teamcenter/NX, or comparable enterprise PLM platforms in an engineering or complex product development environment, including workflows, access control, data structures, release statuses, production support, and end-user support.
- Prior experience managing, mentoring, or leading technical team members in a PLM, CAD, engineering systems environment.
- Strong understanding of engineering release processes, ECN/ECO workflows, BOM management, CAD data management, document control, configuration management, and product lifecycle processes.
- Experience working directly with engineering organizations in complex hardware, aerospace, defense, automotive, robotics, industrial, or advanced manufacturing environments.
- Ability to partner with technical and non-technical stakeholders, prioritize competing requests, and translate business needs into scalable system and process improvements.
- Strong troubleshooting skills across complex system, workflow, configuration, performance, integration, and user issues.
- Comfortable operating in an early-stage or high-growth environment where processes are still being defined and leaders are expected to contribute both managerially and technically.
- Clear communicator who can work effectively with engineering users, business stakeholders, IT teams, vendors, direct reports, and leadership.
