Team Member - Plant Installation

Job Overview

The Planting Team Member plays a key role in the installation of landscape projects by executing high-quality softscape and select hardscape work. This position supports the successful installation of plant material and related landscape features while working closely with teams in the field.

Responsibilities

• Load, unload, and transport plant material, soil, mulch, sod, and related materials to and from job sites
• Install softscape elements including perennials, shrubs, and various sized trees according to design and best practices
• Install sod and/or hydroseed, if needed, to ensure proper establishment and long-term success
• Auxiliary with small hardscape installations, such as retaining walls and landscape edging
• Properly use hand tools and small equipment to complete planting and installation tasks safely and efficiently
• Auxiliary with job site setup, organization, and cleanup at the beginning and end of each day
• Follow all safety guidelines and company procedures while working on job sites
• Work collaboratively with team members to complete projects on schedule and to quality standards
• Other duties as assigned

• Strong work ethic and willingness to learn new skills
• Ability to lift heavy materials and perform physically demanding work
• Reliable attendance and ability to work long days as project schedules require
• Ability to work outdoors in variable weather conditions, including heat and humidity
• Ability to stand, bend, kneel, lift, and work on uneven surfaces and terrain
