This is a temporary position through September 11, 2026.
About the role
The Team Member’s primary responsibility is to enhance guest service inside the venue, including providing great guest service, upselling ancillary experiences, photos, and merchandise to visitors.
Responsibilities
- Greet all guests with a friendly and professional demeanor.
- Relate to the guest by listening to their communications and maintaining eye contact during interactions.
- Ask questions to ensure understanding of guest needs and assist accordingly.
- Thank guests for visiting the exhibition.
- Remain knowledgeable about the exhibition and product offerings.
- Promote all products and experiences.
- Work in various positions as needed, including ticketing, retail, and inside the show.
- Collaborate with team members to maintain a neat and presentable exhibition, being mindful of guests’ line of sight.
- Work in character within the exhibition, speaking at an elevated volume to large groups of guests.
- Regularly communicate with leadership regarding outstanding issues, concerns, or guest needs.
- Assist with inventory processes such as receiving, shipments, damages, and transfers according to company standards.
- Assist in training new staff and team members.
- Follow all policies and procedures, including cash handling for retail and ticketing where applicable.
- Perform basic arithmetic operations (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division) in all units of measure.
- Perform any other duties reasonably requested by management.
Requirements
- 1-2 years’ experience working in guest services, retail, or live entertainment sales.
- Strong communication and excellent customer service skills.
- Organized, punctual, and adept at selling.
- Capable of operating basic POS and software programs.
- Must be able to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays.
- Comfortable working in a loud, fast-paced environment with high guest traffic.
- Ability to stock merchandise and lift up to 25 lbs.
- Ability to stand and walk for prolonged periods.
- Strong focus and attention to detail.
- Clear verbal communication skills and ability to interact effectively with guests and staff.
- Capability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English (or other languages as required for job duties and safety).
- Correctable vision and hearing.
- Skilled in the use of computers and office equipment, with manual dexterity.
- Ability to work weekends, evenings, and holidays as scheduled, with reasonable accommodation for religious observances.
- Legally authorized to work in the United States at the time of hire.
Pay
$15 USD per hour.
