About the role

We are a community of pet lovers dedicated to providing exceptional care and resources for pets and their owners. As a Team Member, you will deliver outstanding service to pet parents, maintain the store environment, achieve business results, and handle operational tasks.

Responsibilities

• Provide guests with an exceptional experience.
• Share product knowledge and suggestions to fit customer needs and promote pet health.
• Perform front-end duties such as handling the cash register, bagging, replenishing merchandise, and preparing displays.
• Organize and maintain a clean store front and stock room.
• Assist with projects including markdowns, re-tickets, labeling products, and special store events.
• Complete other assigned duties from the Store Manager or Retail Management Team.

Requirements

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Passion for extraordinary customer service and the well-being of pets.
• Professional retail sales experience preferred.
• Willingness to learn about the products and services offered.
• Demonstrated ability to meet sales targets.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.
• Strong time management and organizational skills.

Physical Demands

• Ability to work both indoors and outdoors (e.g., assisting with customer carry-out).
• Must be able to stand for 8 hours per day with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds regularly with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Comfortable working with a variety of animals, including small and large dogs.
• Must be able to work around pet hair and dander.

Pay

$14.00–$16.45 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications. Subject to change based on state, city, or county minimum wage laws.

Schedule

Part-time, with a flexible schedule including evenings and weekends.
