At Caring Transitions of Mukwonago & Lake Geneva, we help seniors and their families through life's transitions by providing downsizing, relocation, estate sales, online auctions, and home clean-out services. Every project is different, and every day offers an opportunity to support local families with care and dignity.

About the role

This position is a great fit for retirees looking to stay active, stay-at-home parents seeking flexible daytime hours, college students, gig workers looking for supplemental income, or anyone who enjoys organizing, helping others, and working with the senior community.

Responsibilities

No two days are the same! Depending on the project, you may assist with:

• Online Auctions & Estate Sales
  • Organize, sort, and prepare items for online auctions
  • Photograph items using our easy-to-use CTBids mobile app
  • Research and write descriptions for antiques, collectibles, and unique items
  • Help ensure organized and efficient buyer pickup days
• Packing & Relocation Services
  • Carefully pack, label, and organize household belongings
  • Help prepare homes for moving
  • Treat clients' belongings with care, dignity, and respect
• Home Clean-Out Services
  • Sort items for donation, sale, recycling, or disposal
  • Help organize donations and remove unwanted items
  • Leave homes clean, organized, and ready for their next chapter

Requirements

We're looking for someone who is:

• Compassionate, dependable, and enjoys helping others
• Organized with strong attention to detail
• Comfortable using a smartphone and basic mobile apps
• Able to lift approximately 30 pounds and remain active throughout the day
• Flexible, reliable, and enjoys working as part of a team

Experience in senior transitions, estate sales, antiques, or resale is a plus—but it's not required. We provide paid training.

Pay

Starting pay: $16–$19 per hour (based on experience)

Schedule

• Flexible part-time scheduling
• Typical daytime shifts (approximately 10:00 AM–3:00 PM)
• Some weekend availability required
