Team Member - $14/hr

Responsibilities

• Greet guests with a smile and quickly and accurately take their order and payment.
• Take phone orders or cater orders to assist with special events.
• Call out completed orders to guests with a rhyme.
• Cook food to our high-quality standards and maintain a clean and sanitary workspace.
• Follow provided recipes and uphold Portillo’s standards.
• Ensure proper sanitation practices are in place.
• Create eye-catching, fresh, made-to-order salads and maintain a clean workspace.

Requirements

• Must have worked at Portillo’s for 1 year with an average of at least 20 hours over a 6-month period.
• Military Veterans are encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

• Positive attitude and ability to interact with guests and coworkers.
• Ability to follow recipes and maintain high standards of cleanliness.
• Basic computer skills, including the ability to use a cash register.

Pay

The pay rate for this role is $14 per hour. Additional bonuses are offered: $2/hour for all hours worked after 11pm, $2/hour when working outside in temperatures below 33 degrees Fahrenheit, and $3/hour to work on holidays.
