Responsibilities

• Greet guests with a smile and quickly and accurately take their order and payment.
• Take phone orders or cater orders to assist with special events.
• Call out completed orders to guests by number with a rhyme.
• Cook food to our high-quality standards and maintain a clean and sanitary workspace.
• Follow provided recipes and uphold Portillo’s standards.
• Ensure proper sanitation practices are in place.
• Create eye-catching, fresh, made-to-order salads and maintain a clean workspace.

Requirements

• Must have worked at Portillo’s for 1 year with an average of at least 20 hours over a 6-month period.
• Military Veterans are encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

• Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Positive attitude and ability to interact with guests and co-workers.
• Basic computer skills and knowledge of POS systems.

Skills

• Customer service skills.
• Attention to detail.

Pay

The hourly pay is $14.00 per hour. Additional pay rates apply for evening, weekend, and holiday shifts.
