Responsibilities
- Establish and maintain operational standards while monitoring adherence to manufacturing operating systems
- Facilitate the Results Process using standardized tools and methods
- Support and resolve team-escalated issues through coaching and abnormality resolution
- Validate permanent corrective actions and drive continuous improvement to prevent systemic recurrence
- Allocate resources to maintain production flow and ensure standards are met
- Plan and monitor maintenance tasks while driving process improvements
- Create a conducive work environment that empowers teams to execute responsibilities
- Foster a culture of communication and recognition to develop a motivated workforce
- Lead the planning, coordination, and management of system changes and transitions
- Drive the creation and coordination of team activities
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree and 5+ years of experience OR 8+ years of directly relevant industry experience.
- 2+ years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Ability to work rotating shifts, including nights and weekends as required.
- Fundamental knowledge of quality and process engineering.
Qualifications
- Master’s Degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, Industrial, or related).
- In-depth knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and constraint management principles.
- Direct experience in an automotive manufacturing environment, specifically with presses.
- Proven experience managing a unionized workforce.

Pay
This position is leadership level 6 and ranges from $112,680-212,760.
Schedule
This position is hybrid. Candidates who are in commuting distance to a Ford hub location may be required to be onsite four or more days per week.
