Position Summary

Lead maintenance team with addressing machine maintenance, malfunctions, part ordering and general maintenance. Perform electrical or mechanical troubleshooting to determine problems in non-functioning, electromechanical/pneumatic/hydraulic equipment used in the manufacturing process. Performs maintenance on equipment to include welding, machine or vehicle servicing. Perform general construction and building maintenance.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of maintenance tasked on machinery and equipment.
• Maintain and repair trucks, forklifts and assorted hand tools.
• Fabricate parts, assemble machinery according to layout plans, blueprints, manuals or drawings and perform electrical work as required by task.
• Interface with internal and external customers in the trouble-shooting process and in the preventive maintenance of production equipment.
• Create and repair of dies and jigs according to engineering and automation specs.
• Cook up parts ordering.
• General building services and maintenance as requested by Supervisor.
• May train, mentor and transfer job knowledge to team.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Practice personal safety and follow all safety practices and procedures.
• Comply with all policies, practices and procedures.
• Report all unsafe activities to management.
• Participate in proactive team efforts to achieve departmental and company goals.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Education: Requires a high school diploma or equivalent; and six years related experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Requirements: Ability to read a tape measure and use various hand tools
  Experience working in a team environment
  Requires attention to detail and being thorough in completing work tasks
  Use of logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions or approaches to problems
  Ability to use hand and power tools and ability to operate material handling equipment (i.e. pallet jack)
