About the role
Performs, restores, and guides teammates and/or Robotics welding production with a focus on quality, compliance, and equipment.
Responsibilities
- Restores flow
- Solves and investigates nonconformances to find the root cause
- Leads continuous improvement themes
- Collaborates with support staff to solve problems
- Leads and implements advancements in repeatability through fixture and equipment
- Coordinates and performs trainings for teammates
- Captures and coordinates tooling fixtures for PMs
- Maintains standardized work in the area
- Captures and coordinates day to day work schedules for the production demand
- Coaches teammates
- Performs Weld Secondary Inspection checks
Education and/or Experience
- High school diploma and 2+ years of relevant experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Weld qualified and/or able to pass Weld Qualification test.
- Must be able to successfully complete Motoman Maintenance and/or Basic Programming Course.
Competency and/or Skill
- Ability to read blueprints
- Able to qualify to drive
- PIT MPS Skills preferred
- Perform at the ‘Midmark Production System Team Leader’ matrix expectations
- Manual dexterity skills
- Quick to learn/mechanical aptitude
Supervisory Responsibilities
- Provides leadership, coaching, and/or mentoring to a subordinate group.
