Team Leader, Wednesday - Saturday (1PM - 11PM)

About the Role

Oversee daily activities in assigned cottage(s) as directed by Unit Supervisor. In addition to performing the duties of the position, provide supervision to assigned program staff including hiring, training, weekly supervision, and performance documentation to ensure continuity of care and accountability of services.

Responsibilities

• Acquire, maintain, teach, and demonstrate knowledge of Sexual Harassment standards at care provider facilities, evidence-based practices, and trauma-informed care.
• Maintain a professional environment consistent with Title 22, licensing regulations, and established agency policies.
• Demonstrate effective and consistent Therapeutic Crisis Intervention.
• Maintain vigilant supervision of youth placed in 24/7 care.
• Actively engage and encourage youth toward their treatment goals and daily living activities.
• Regularly transport youth to appointments, recreation activities, court, family visits, etc.
• Prepare timely and accurate documentation.
• Understand and retain instructions for complex tasks.
• Set clear, measurable, and specific goals for assigned staff and meet weekly for review.
• Provide specific performance feedback to staff, both positive and corrective, as soon as possible after an event or action.
• Oversee written evaluations, submitted evaluations, and any rate change submissions for approval.
• Present evaluations to staff.
• Maintain a professional environment consistent with existing contracts, licensing regulations, and established agency policies.

Requirements

• BA/BS in a related field (will be paid at a higher rate). Candidates without a relevant degree must meet alternative minimum qualifications established by the California Department of Social Services and/or the Office of Refugee Resettlement.
• Experience working with immigrant or refugee populations strongly preferred.
• Must be bilingual (English/Spanish).
• Must possess and maintain a valid, unrestricted California driver’s license and auto insurance.
• Must successfully complete and maintain required certifications and training, including but not limited to Therapeutic Crisis Intervention and First Aid/CPR.
• Must be able to understand and follow policies and procedures.
• Must be able to document services, incidents, and other required forms.

Pay

$18.09 - $25.84 per hour.
