About the role
The successful candidate will lead a team of professionals supporting children and youth with Autism and other developmental disabilities in an after-school and summer program. The role involves enhancing professional growth, coordinating personnel management, overseeing behavior analysis, crisis prevention, and ensuring the safety and well-being of the children.
Responsibilities
- Supports team members to enhance their professional growth and development, performance, teamwork, morale, and service provision.
- Counsels and coaches team members to improve their skills and performance.
- Coordinates hiring, provides training, conducts performance reviews, and fosters a collaborative team environment.
- Plans and oversees Individualized Behavior Analysis Services, including functional assessments, goal setting, Individual Behavior Plans, and data management.
- Teaches and implements crisis prevention and intervention strategies (PCM).
- Oversees the implementation of all program components, including behavior analysis, social skills training, fitness and nutrition, cultural arts, academics, enrichment activities, family engagement, and drowning prevention instruction.
- Maintains safety and ensures the health of the children by monitoring safety issues, practicing emergency procedures, and promoting children's rights.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in a relevant field (Behavior Analysis, Psychology, Special Education, etc.)
- Minimum of 2 years of related experience leading programs for children with Autism/Behavioral Challenges
- Minimum of 2 years implementing Applied Behavior Analysis Plans with children who have challenging behaviors; training and experience developing ABA plans preferred
- Positive and supportive personality

Pay
$56,000 with a bachelor’s degree and $61,000 with a master’s degree.
