Team Leader (Production Supervisor)

About the role

Weyerhaeuser, in Cottage Grove, OR has an open position for a Team Leader (Production Supervisor). This position is salaried and includes a full benefits package. The training period will consist of learning the business, spending time with people in various roles, coaching, feedback, and on-the-job training. This will involve job shadowing other Team Leaders who work various shifts, so you must be available to work any shift. At the end of the training period, you’ll be assigned to a shift.

Requirements

• Leadership capability, particularly regarding Weyerhaeuser safety culture
• Ability to connect and communicate with people in all roles in the business

Qualifications

• Wood products experience
• Experience as a lead or held other leadership roles
• 3-5 years of related work experience preferred

Skills

• Be able to work shift assigned, can include nights and weekends
• Be able to work in extreme temperatures, in dusty and noisy conditions, work from heights, and in confined/restricted areas
• Be able to lift 2-50 pounds regularly, climb steps and ladders, and stand or work for 4 hours as needed to supervise hourly employees working 10- or 13-hour shifts

Compensation

This role is eligible for our annual merit-increase program, and we are targeting a salary range of $69,000 - $123,000 based on your level of skills, qualifications and experience. You will also be eligible for our Annual Incentive Program, which offers a cash bonus targeting 5 to 7% of base pay. Potential plan funding may range from zero to two times that target.

Retirement

Paid Time Off or Vacation

We provide eligible employees who are scheduled to work 25 hours or more per week with 3-weeks of paid vacation to use during your first year of employment. We also recognize eleven paid holidays per year, providing a total of 88 holiday hours.
