Team Leader / Production Supervisor
Responsibilities
- Ensure safety standards are met
- Lead and cultivate a collaborative and productive team
- Promote a positive safety culture and ensure compliance with all safety programs
- Duties include scheduling personnel and weekly payroll submission
- Training, Developing, and coaching employees
- Work with the team to maintain company cleanliness standards
- Lead and participate in improvement initiatives to increase efficiency and improve cost effectiveness
Qualifications
- Committed to top performance in a safe work environment
- Demonstrated ability to lead a team
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communications skills, both written and verbal
- Able to work flexible hours
- Prior manufacturing experience is required
About the Role
The Dixfield Sawmill is a world-class facility and the largest Eastern White Pine sawmill in North America. Reporting to the Sawmill Manager, the Team Leader will be responsible for the overall results (safety, quality, and production) of the night shift, ensuring safety and quality standards are met at all times.
