Team Leader - Part-Time (Prior Lake, MN)

About the role

Scott County Young Life is seeking a part-time Wyldlife OR Young Life team leader to support teen ministry at Prior Lake High School and Twin Oaks and Hidden Oaks Middle schools. The role involves leading and facilitating student-facing events, and managing a team of volunteer leaders.

Responsibilities

• Lead and facilitate student-facing events
• Manage a team of volunteer leaders
• Engage in spiritual development and leadership training
• Recruit and train new leaders
• Develop and execute a yearly ministry strategy
• Network with key adults in the community
• Participate in fundraising efforts
• Implement a summer and school-season camping strategy
• Support the ministry with administrative tasks

Requirements

• Lives locally in/near Prior Lake
• Willingness to adhere to Young Life's Statement of Faith
• Experience in youth ministry or equivalent
• Strong communication and relational skills
• Ability to manage finances and maintain donor care practices

Qualifications

• College degree preferred
• Proven relational skills with both kids and adults
• Demonstrated verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to maintain confidentiality
