Job Title: Team Leader Department: Foam Sheet Shift: 7:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m. or as assigned Primary Function The Team Lead position is responsible for coordinating and overseeing activities of production workers. The right individual will have 1-2 years of experience in a manufacturing environment and has demonstrated the ability to indirectly lead and influence team members. This person will ensure team members are motivated to accomplish performance objectives. This position may be required to send daily shift updates and provide direct support when needed, which may include covering vacant positions. Essential Functions And Responsibilities Provide indirect leadership to team members through training, troubleshooting, and coaching.Accurately record, communicate, and maintain required documentation in timely manner.Troubleshoot processing techniques and production machinery.Training and understanding of all existing and any new production equipment.Provide problem solving and suggested resolution for departmental issues.Ability to work overtime as needed by the business.Continuous improvement in the departments of safety, quality, and production.Support, demonstrate and promote Pregis’ core values: integrity, collaboration, customer focus and innovation.Adheres to the highest standards of company safety programs, guidelines, rules, and regulations including all personal protective equipment (PPE) requirements.Assure quality and accuracy of production standards.
