About the role
The Annuity Field Supervision Team is responsible for overseeing annuity transactions and ensuring appropriate actions are taken in alignment with firm policies and industry regulations. This role leads a team of Annuity Field Supervision Directors who support our branch offices and internal partners, helping maintain strong supervisory practices across the organization.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the performance and daily operations of the Annuity Field Supervision team, ensuring alignment with organizational priorities
- Serve as a subject matter expert, offering guidance on complex supervisory decisions and interpretation of applicable rules and regulations
- Establish clear expectations and consistent supervisory practices across the team
- Provide ongoing coaching, training, and development to build and sustain a high-performing team
- Oversee team activities, including reviewing and approving client communications and evaluating expense reports for compliance and responsible resource use
- Drive and contribute to complex initiatives, including the development and enhancement of supervisory systems and processes
- Represent the department internally and externally by partnering with business units, engaging with regulators, supporting FINRA arbitration, and participating in sales practice exams and industry events
- Promote and uphold professional standards aligned with the firm’s culture, mission, and supervisory priorities
Requirements
- Series 7 and Series 66 (or equivalent) required
- Series 7 must be held for at least 2 years
- Series 9, 10 (or equivalent), 24, and insurance license required
- Must be obtained within 4 months of hire if not already held
- Extensive product and regulatory knowledge
- Strong knowledge of Firm policies and supervisory systems
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Coaching and feedback ability
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree**
Candidates that live within a commutable distance from our Tempe, AZ and St. Louis, MO home office locations are expected to work in the office four days per week.
