Responsibilities
- Deliver the OWN Experience every day by focusing on what drives our success—Clients, OWNers, Safety, Quality, and Financial Health.
- Lead technical teams in maximizing success at each phase of the project lifecycle.
- Manage assigned projects to ensure quality, schedule, and budget goals are achieved.
- Lead project kickoffs, define scope, establish schedules and budgets, and monitor progress throughout the project lifecycle.
- Implement and enforce company standards, QA/QC procedures, and quality control processes on all projects.
- Identify project risks and collaborate with Group Leaders to develop and implement mitigation strategies.
- Conduct project debriefs and promote continuous improvement in delivery and collaboration.
- Champion a culture of safety, ensuring all OWNers and clients maintain safe work practices.
- Lead, mentor, and manage assigned team members to support their development, engagement, and utilization.
- Conduct performance reviews, providing coaching, feedback, and career development guidance.
- Support onboarding, training, and skill development initiatives for team members.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Geotechnical Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or a related field preferred
- 10-15 years of experience focused in geotechnical investigations, materials testing procedures, environmental assessments, and/or drilling techniques
- In-depth knowledge of field services principles, practices, and industry standards
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to effectively plan, organize, and prioritize multiple projects and resources
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage with clients, stakeholders, and team members
- Business acumen and a customer-focused mindset, with a track record of successfully growing client relationships and securing new business opportunities
- Familiarity with relevant geotechnical software and design tools
- Strong commitment to safety and the promotion of a safe work environment
- A drive for continuous improvement and innovation, seeking opportunities to enhance departmental processes and performance
