Responsibilities

• Supervise above water and underwater bridge and ancillary inspection and evaluations
• Review, analyze, and resolve field issues
• Manage engineering projects of varying size and complexity
• Prepare proposals, budgets, schedules, and ensure project profitability
• Mentor field staff on inspection purposes and techniques
• Make independent decisions within a general framework
• Attend meetings or events outside of normal working hours
• Ensure safety through specialized training and discussions

Qualifications

• Experience in structural inspections and technical management
• Strong background in the field
• Ability to manage inspection tasks, liaise with clients and government agencies, and direct teams
• Proficiency in producing and reviewing detailed inspection reports
• Knowledge of FHWA compliance requirements
• Leadership and mentoring skills
• Availability to work both in the office and in the field, with some local travel
