Team Leader

Responsibilities

• Maintain QCDM work standards and performance (compliance + quick response).
• Ensure installations and equipment start, and production begins according to standards, including OK starts (1st part release).
• Perform production according to established standards and detect problems (deviations from standards).
• React according to the standard of reaction in case of detected problems (e.g., KOSU/KTRP).
• Participate in Quick Response actions and liaise between the team and the supervisor.
• Assign operators to workstations and optimize resources based on workload.
• Check adherence to standards and facilitate the work of the APT (changeovers, procurement, etc.).
• Anticipate change-overs and facilitate production to avoid disruptions.
• Provide first-level support for detected problems and ensure QRAP is fulfilled or lead its completion.
• Escalate issues according to the standard of reaction.
• Lead daily meetings under supervisor delegation (e.g., 5-minute meetings).
• Apply ERIM/TPM: detect reliability abnormalities and write Red Tags.
• Accurately fill in TRP losses in the MES, DLE/KTRP record sheet, or spreadsheet.
• Transfer useful information to the next shift Team Leader and inform the Supervisor of relevant updates.
• Propose improvements to existing standards in their APZ by making improvement proposals.
• Approve work standards as a user and propose countermeasures for root causes.
• Participate in kaizen workshops within their perimeter.
• Train team members on workstations to meet quality and productivity standards using eWorkStation when implemented.
• Develop autonomy in multiskills fields under supervisor control.
• Perform On Job Training for other team members.
• Replace other operators to allow their involvement in improvement actions or to prevent line/equipment stops.
• Facilitate improvement within the APT (e.g., help the supervisor process suggestions for improvements).
• Support the completion of Improvement Proposals.
