We are seeking a Commercial Banking Team Leader for Pittsburgh and the surrounding areas. You'll assume responsibility for all corporate banking functions of a designated business segment.

Responsibilities

  • Participate in and manage the marketing/growth plan within the designated business segment.
  • Participate in current and long-range planning of objectives, plans, and policies as directed by the President of Corporate Banking.
  • Assist the President of Corporate Banking in the development of the annual corporate banking budget and annual departmental business plans for the designated business segment.
  • Provide advice, guidance, and authorization to subordinates to carry out plans and procedures consistent with the Bank’s policies.
  • Implement and monitor programs that meet corporate goals and objectives.
  • Develop and maintain customer business relationships through marketing campaigns, personal representation in the community, and business-to-business contacts.
  • Represent the Bank in the community through local civic, community, and business-based organizations and associations.
  • Monitor market performance to plan and regularly report these results to the President of Corporate Banking.
  • Manage salary administration and performance evaluation of all subordinates within the designated business segment.
  • Develop and maintain procedures to promote communication and information flow among all departments within the Bank.
  • Serve as a contributing member on committees as designated by the President of Corporate Banking.
  • Manage the credit quality and portfolio management consistent with the policies and objectives of the Bank.
  • Assume other special activities and responsibilities as directed by the President of Corporate Banking.
  • Ensure compliance with the laws and regulations that apply to this position, including the Univest Code of Ethics.
  • Coach and develop staff.
  • Perform all other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Business, or Accounting preferred.
  • 10+ years of experience in personal portfolio development, credit analysis, and full understanding of banking functions.
  • Demonstrated successful management and supervision of a team of lenders.
  • Excellent communications, computer, interpersonal, and leadership skills.

Pay

The salary for this position starts at $100,000+ with commissions paid quarterly based on individual and team production.
