Job Responsibilities
- Manage a team of 6-8 staff members, which will include some combination of Senior Account Managers, Account Managers, and Associate Account Managers. Management will include ensuring client satisfaction of the clients assigned to the team, managing the team to meet Nova’s performance metrics, providing training and feedback to team members, and completing salary and performance reviews
- Champion for AMP’s values and policies
- Assist in training staff members throughout the year
- Resolve a minimum of 50% of service issues escalated by team members
- Keep current with new regulations and legislation as well as an awareness of proposed regulations and legislation
- Assist with a minimum of three Nova client/broker outreach initiatives throughout the year, such as live seminars, webinars, or special Nova events
- Assist team members with annual client reviews
- Maintain a caseload of about 50 clients
- Provide design and consulting services to plans assigned to the team
- Cultivate existing client relationships for plans assigned to the team
- Communicate with principals, clients, financial advisors, attorneys, CPAs, and other professionals on plans assigned to the team
- Other duties as required
- 10+ years of experience in nondiscrimination testing
- 5+ years of supervisory or management experience in the retirement plan field
- NIPA or ASPPA credentials
- Bachelor’s degree
- Excellent knowledge of ADP/ACP, 415, 410(b), Top Heavy and 401(a)(4) non-discrimination testing
- Strong knowledge of ERISA, Internal Revenue Code and Regulations, including experience in nondiscrimination testing
- Able to manage and prioritize workload towards weekly goals in a results-oriented team environment
- Able to interpret provisions of pre-approved and individually designed plan documents
- Strong research and analytical skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills

- Base Salary $90,000-$120,000
