Position Summary Responsible for directing a team of assembly employees in the areas of production, quality and safety to ensure daily goals and standards are being achieved. Effectively communicate to management production successes and opportunities for improvement. Be able to apply Lean tools to drive improvement in all business metrics. EDUCATION High School Diploma or GED. 1-year certificate from a college or technical school, A.A. or A.S. preferred Experience Minimum of 12 months of assembly manufacturing related experience 3-5 Years Team Leader/Line Supervisory experience. Computer Skills Microsoft Office, Lotus Notes, AS/400, and MRP production schedules. CERTIFICATES AND LICENSES Able to read blueprints, micrometers gauges and mechanical aptitude a plus.CPR/First Aid CertifiedValid driver's licenseForklift certification. WORK ENVIRONMENT While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts. The employee is frequently exposed to fumes or airborne particles and toxic or caustic chemicals. The employee is occasionally exposed to wet and/or humid conditions and risk of electrical shock. The noise level in the work environment requires hearing protection. Employee is required to wear safety glasses and steel-toed shoes.
