KEY ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Maintains production requirements by monitoring associates.
- Maintains quality standards by ensuring approval of finished products.
- Maintains cleanliness and safety by monitoring the worksite.
- Solves product problems and takes corrective actions.
- Adjusts production lines and workstations as needed.
- Completes required forms and paperwork.
- Verifies quantities, lot numbers, labels, and part correctness.
- Performs cycle counts using handheld scanners and ERP system.
- Notifies materials department of component or manufactured part shortages.
- Repairs minor machine problems.
- Fills in for absent associates on work stations when needed.
- Complies with safety rules and maintains a clean, orderly work area.
- Performs other duties as necessary.
Qualifications
- Associates degree and/or 1-2 years supervisory experience in a manufacturing setting.
- Use of hand tools, crane, grinders, calipers, and gages.
- Use of a Powered Industrial Truck (PIT) and a hand or powered pallet jack.
- Use of a computer and typical office software.
- Working knowledge of manufacturing equipment in assigned area.
