About the Role
Goodwill Industries of Kentucky is looking for a high-energy, positive, team-minded Team Leader to join our retail team. This position is essential for the success of our retail store operation and supports our core values of service, hope, partnership, and dignity with a focus on great customer service. Responsibilities
- Assist in providing direction and modeling job duties for Production Clerks.
- Deliver great customer service by greeting donors and customers and offering assistance.
- Sort and stock materials in stores as required.
- Rotate stock as needed.
- Operate the cash register.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED (preferred).
- Basic math skills and ability to make change and complete paperwork in a timely manner.
- Experience coaching or training others (e.g., one-on-one training with Production Clerks).
- Reliable transportation to and from work.
Physical Demands
This role involves light to medium physical work, including:
- Frequent bending, squatting, kneeling, stooping, and repetitive motions.
- Good finger dexterity and visual acuity.
- Frequently lifting, pushing, or pulling 10–20 pounds; occasionally pushing or pulling 20–50 pounds.
- Ability to perform material handling with minimal restrictions and work with minimal supervision.
- Ability to work a rotating schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Pay
$13.50 per hour.
Schedule
Full-time, with store hours of operation: Monday–Sunday, 9:00 AM – 9:00 PM.
