About the role
Goodwill Industries of Kentucky is seeking a Team Leader to support their retail store operations. This position focuses on great customer service and aligns with the organization's core values of respect, excellence, and integrity.
Responsibilities
- Aids in directing and demonstrating job duties to Production Clerks.
- Displays excellent customer service by greeting donors and customers, offering assistance.
- Sorts and stocks materials in stores as needed.
- Operates cash registers and performs other tasks as assigned.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Basic math skills, ability to make change, and timely completion of paperwork.
- May serve as a coach in one-on-one training with a Production Clerk(s).
- Reliable transportation to and from work.
Physical Demands
- Lights to medium work involving sitting, bending, squatting, kneeling, stooping, and frequent repetitive motions.
- Frequent talking, hearing, and visual acuity.
- Frequent lifting/pushing/pulling of up to 20 pounds, and occasional lifting/pushing of up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to perform material handling with few restrictions, minimal supervision, and a rotating schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- No travel required.
