Team Leader

About the role

Goodwill Kentucky is looking for a high-energy, positive-attitude, team-minded Team Leader to join our retail team. This position is essential for the success of our retail store operation, supporting our core values of Dignity, Service, Hope, and Partnership with a focus on great customer service. Responsibilities

• Assist in providing direction and modeling job duties to other Production Clerks.
• Display great customer service by greeting donors and customers; offer assistance.
• Sort material as required and stock material in stores.
• Rotate stock as needed.
• Operate cash register.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED (preferred).
• Basic math skills, ability to make change, and complete paperwork in a timely manner.
• May serve as a coach in one-on-one training with Production Clerk(s).
• Reliable transportation to and from work.
• Ability to work a rotating schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Physical Demands

This role may involve light to medium physical work, including:

• Sitting for short periods of time.
• Frequent bending, squatting, kneeling, stooping, and repetitive motions.
• Good finger dexterity and visual acuity.
• Frequently lifting, pushing, or pulling 10–20 pounds.
• Occasionally pushing or pulling 20–50 pounds.
• Ability to perform material handling with minimal supervision.

Pay

$13.50 per hour.

Schedule

Full-time. Store hours of operation: Monday–Sunday, 9:00 AM – 8:00 PM.
